Body & Beyond: Galeri 77

In its newest group exhibition Galeri 77 brings together 18 artists, creating a captivating journey through the world of figurative art. Bringing together unique perspectives, this selection offers art lovers a series of works that skillfully capture the essence of the human form and objects as figures, playing with the ideas of traditional figurative art through the eyes of contemporary artists. The exhibition titled “Body & Beyond”, presents the different approaches that figurative art has reached today, blended with influences such as pop art, faux naïf, illustrative, baroque, grotesque and biomechanical. In addition to the wealth of ideas offered by this diversity, the exhibition also emphasizes brand new production processes and the importance of technique in art.
